I am a motion and graphic designer located on the East Coast. An observer and creator, always studying and analyzing for future reference… Is that weird? Eh, so am I! Reach out to learn more!

Experience

Department of Parking and Transportation at UVA

Marketing and Communications
August 2022 - Present
  • Conceptualized, designed, and distributed various communication materials including, but not limited to, promotional materials for various Parking and Transportation initiatives, maps, flyers, and Candidate Profile documents for the Director of Parking and Transportation search
  • Ran a successful communications strategy for University of Virginia’s Final Exercises (University of Virginia’s Graduation Events)
  • Manages and updates department website and social media accounts
  • Researched, tested, and acquired a mass text message system for the department for the purpose of delivering urgent messages to patrons. In addition to developing a usage plan for the text message system, researched additional use cases for other Business Services departments at the university, which P&T is a part of.
  • Researched and initiated discussion for a new mapping solution that would benefit both the Academic and Health System side of the University of Virginia
  • Created a general communications plan for the department that spans across the department website, Transloc, and social media (Twitter/X & Instagram)
  • Worked to insure all communications, both internal and external, are accessible
  • Instructed others on university branding guidelines and usage
  • Trained others on graphic design concepts and Adobe Illustrator

  • Assisted in signage creation for “Framing Fatherhood” an exhibition held by the Corcoran School at the George Washington University

  • Created a simple call to action webpage via WordPress for a GWU professor to solicit essay submissions
